About us.

La Fontaine Makelaardij has been active as a specialized rental agency in the Maastricht region since 2004. As a small-scale, reputable party, we focus mainly on the middle rental and free sector. Because of our focus on rentals, we are always aware of current market developments and laws and regulations. Landlords can count on us for expert, committed and carefree assistance in letting their property.

With over 22 years of experience, la Fontaine Makelaardij is a trusted name in Maastricht. We are one of the most experienced rental brokers in this region. Our strength lies in a personal and informal working method, short lines of communication and a strong focus on quality. We actively think along and ensure sustainable rental results.

"We think
along with you"

We know Maastricht like the back of our hand, of course.

We also support expats and international companies in finding suitable housing in and around Maastricht. With expertise, attention and dedication we have been providing successful rental projects for many years.

In recent years, we have helped many expats, students, families and couples find a new home, and landlords find good, reliable tenants.

We speak Dutch, Maastricht, English, French and German. Also in other languages, with some patience, we make ourselves well understood.

The agency has been fantastic. Communicative, clear and thorough. I got far more and detailed information regarding the different aspects of the property rental contract than I was expecting, which I appreciated. And everything was done and sorted out very quickly.

Michele from La Fontaine Makelaardij was fantastic in helping me find a great apartment near the city centre on a tight schedule. Her communication was clear and timely, and she ensured a smooth transition with the previous tenant. Michele made the entire process easy and stress-free. Highly recommended!
